(Traditional Herbal Smoke / Fumigation)
Ingredients
Guggul (gum resin) – 1 small piece
Harmal (Isband / Syrian rue seeds) – ½ teaspoon
Loban (benzoin resin) – 1 small piece
Charcoal or dried cow-dung cake – for burning
Heat-safe burner or clay bowl
How to Prepare
Light the charcoal or cow-dung cake until it is red hot.
Place it in a burner or clay bowl.
Add:
a small amount of Harmal
one piece of Guggul
one piece of Loban
Aromatic smoke will rise — the dhooni is ready.
